The construction of a new high-quality passenger terminal building, aircraft apron and associated airside road access designed to provide passengers with a ‘hassle-free’ experience.

The scope of the works includes:

  • Construction of a steel structural frame to provide a 4,500m2 terminal
  • Specialist mechanical and electrical works
  • The fitting out of public access areas offering comfort and durability
  • Departures baggage handling system
  • Diversion of an existing taxiway and the construction of a new terminal apron to accommodate 5 new aircraft stands
  • The installation of underground duct and drainage systems, ground lighting and signage
  • Staff offices and facilities including secure facilities for Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs and the UK Border Agency
